Yajaira Escobedo MS, LMSW, LCDC
Yajaira Escobedo has 15 years of working in the mental health field. She is a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker who has worked in the clinical setting with adults, children, and couples. She specializes in complex trauma and anxiety disorders. Her experience working in child protective services, 13 year US Army combat veteran, and a former high school teacher has paved a path in helping the individual heal from past and current wounds. She uses a holistic approach where she uses traditional and nontraditional treatments to help the individual as a whole. Yajaira was trained in Amino Acid Therapy by nationally known author Julia Ross of the book “The Mood Cure”. Where she assesses chemical imbalances in the brain based on symptoms and recommends a diet and or supplements to treat anxiety and/or depression without medication.
She is currently a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor where she uses amino acids to help curb substance use. Yajaira is a nationally certified Integrated Eye Movement Therapy practitioner. An approach that can reduce phobias, panic attacks, and other negative feelings in as little as one session. She is a reiki practitioner and crystal healer practitioner who specializes in bringing balance to the whole body, mind, and soul. Yajaira believes in using different modalities to reach the clients goal therefore she understands the importance of learning the newest evidence based practices.

Often, life circumstances can cause us to lose motivation and hope. Which may prevent us from fulfilling our life purpose. My goal is to assist clients in understanding the root cause of their concerns through an integrative approach that includes mind and body practices. My approaches include mindfulness-based practices, attachment styles and family systems.
As a couple’s therapist, I maximize the benefits of the Gottman Method to support couples who have a desire to rebuild trust, improve communication and restore intimacy.

She has a background working in the social services field in addition to private practice experience. She has had the opportunity to work with individuals and families in a variety of roles that provided guidance and counseling, parent education, case management and college readiness support. In the past 5 years, she has worked as a therapist in the public and private sectors collaborating on goals to overcome challenges that include anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, parenting problems, grief and loss, and trauma.
Veronica is happily married and a proud new mother. She is family centered and incorporates her experiences as a woman, mother, poc, and other multicultural perspectives into the relationships she builds with clients. Shes is a master-level clinician with a vast and competitive resume of academic mastery, prestigious training opportunities, published research, and polished work history leading up to owning and operating Healing Space Therapeutics PLLC. Emiley has also held academic positions including adjunct roles for Our Lady of the Lake University as a professor of Psychology teaching Latino psychology and Psychological implications of Race, Class, Gender. Emiley’s special interests topics include Neurodivergent Diagnosis, Systemic and multicultural Approaches to Therapy, Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Intersection of psychology with racial inequality and socioeconomic disadvantage. Emiley states her greatest accomplishment in her life is being a mother to 4 girls. 3 of which are triplets! She is happily married to her partner of 10 years, Jeremy Medrano, who is the practice board executive.

Maggie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-A) with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a compassionate and experienced therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. With a warm and non-judgmental approach, she strives to create a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and concerns. She is committed to building a trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients, and is passionate about helping clients elevate their sense of self worth and find a sense of purpose. It is her belief that through empowerment and self regulation people can gain the control and direction over their lives they desire.
Margarita works with diverse populations, including adults, teenagers, and couples, addressing various issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, reading books, practicing self-care, and watching most of the Bravo’s Housewives series.

Amber is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) with 10 years of experience in mental
health. She has experience in a variety of settings in both public non profit and private sectors.Amber has found fulfillment and professional mastery through her therapeutic influence with individuals and families in a variety of roles empowering clients to grow, improve their quality of llife, and obtain greater self-knowledge by creating a safe and secure space for them to express, represent, and communicate their feelings, thoughts, attitudes, and values without fear of judgment. Her competence ranges from the traditional models of practice and theory to creative methods which enhance results as well as client experience, including her credentials as a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). In the past she has worked in community mental agencies and private practices serving neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC individuals. In recent years her expertise has been focused on helping individuals overcome anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma. As a clinician that is holistic and eclectic in her approach to therapy, she uses her personality and vast insight to enhance well known techniques such as DBT, CBMT, and EMDR.
Amber enjoys spending her free time reading, watching tv, and playing video games. She is a geek at heart and enjoys manga, sci-fi, fantasy, table top role playing games, and watching anime. When she is not at home or working, she enjoys performing music in choral ensembles and operas.
